Walter Eugene Rebman, 84 of Ashland, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 9,

2023, surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was born September 6, 1938 in Lodi, Ohio the son of Walter F. and Opal Curry

Rebman.  Eugene was a U.S. veteran of the Air Force and worked as a UPS Driver for

32 years, where he was honored in the UPS Circle of Honor for safe driving. He and his

wife Nancy, were breeders of Morgan Horses and he was an accomplished carriage

driver.  Eugene loved his family and the farm, and he attended Grace Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Cupp Rebman, to whom he was married August 20,

1966, two sons, Matthew (Heather) Rebman of Ashland and Greg (Sara) Rebman of Lucas, 3

grandchildren, Kate Rebman, Taylor Rebman and Landon Rebman, 1 great granddaughter, Spencer

Mott, 2 sisters, Faye Uacha of Apple Creek and Elaine Emerson of Medina and a brother, Dick Rebman

of Moreland.

Calling hours will be Thursday March 16, 2023 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville from 5-8 pm.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
