Virginia Rae (Rapp) Dilgard

Virginia Rae Dilgard, 92 of Ashland passed away Thursday August 27, 2024 at Brethren Care Village

in Ashland. She was born January 25, 1932 in Shelby the daughter of Carl Ray and Nina Fay Snider

Rapp. She graduated from Shelby High School and worked as a clerk for Dilgard Auction. She was a

member of the Ashland Eastern Star and was a very good seamstress. Virginia was an officer for the

Ohio and National Auctioneer Auxiliary Association and was a board member for Council on Aging.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Jennifer (Gary) Stratton of Utica, Velma (Jeff) Blake of Ashland and

Sadra Woodruff, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Byron in 2010, a daughter, Jayne and a sister,

Joyce Hutchinson.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday September 3, 2024 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Amy Beth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Dickey Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
