Tonya Rae (Elliott) Humrichouser

Tonya Rae Humrichouser, 50 passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday May 11, 2020.

She was born March 7, 1970 in Ashland the daughter of H. Clark and Delores Sue (Campo) Elliott.

She was married to Matthew R. Humrichouser on September 12, 1998 and gave birth to their only child

and daughter, Madelynn Sue on January 29, 2003. Matt and Maddie survive as does her mother.

She is also survived by 3 brothers: Tom (Barbie) Elliott, Doug (Melinda) Elliott, Brian (Heather)

Elliott, and 2 sisters: Cindy Hudnut and Mindy (Jimmie) Reef, her mother-in-law, Kay Humrichouser,

sisters-in-law, Melanie Humrichouser and Melissa Itschner and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clark, sister, Debbie Overmyer and niece Amber McClain.

Though “Mom” to only one, she “mothered” many children over the past 20 years providing loving and

dedicated daycare.

Tonya was a 1988 graduate of Crestview High School and had worked at the Lyn-Way Restaurant.

A private family gathering will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 16, 2020 at Fickes Funeral Home in

Jeromesville. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Rowsburg Cemetery with Pastor Harry

Strachan officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
