Thomas D. Keener

Thomas D. Keener, 85 of Ashland passed away Monday January 12, 2026 at Brethren

Care.  He was born March 26, 1940 in Ashland the son of Guy and Harriett Abrams

Keener.  He was a mechanic and Owned and Operated Mid Ohio Muffler for 30 years

and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children, Jenny (Paul) Uebel of Ashland, Guy (Deborah) Keener of

Leland, North Carolina, Katy Keener of Jeromesville, daughter-in-law, Ashley Murdocco

Keener of Kent, OH,5 grandchildren, Cory (Laura) Barrick, Nicholas Keener, Mariah

(Balian) Keener, Sarah Keener and Colin Keener and a brother, Douglas (Suzzane)

Keener of Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Keener, a son, John Keener, his parents, a

brother, Martin Keener and a sister, Dorothy Berry.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday January 24, 2026 at Bethel Baptist Church with

Pastor John Bouquet officiating. Due to unpredictable weather, there will be no graveside

services. Tom will be laid to rest in the Savannah Cemetery.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
