Theresa Marine (Hardy) Shibinski

Theresa Marine Shibinski, 89 of Jeromesville passed away Friday January 27, 2026 at her residence.

She was born January 25, 1937 in Akron the daughter of William and Dorothy Martin Hardy. Theresa

was a 1955 graduate of Jeromesville High School and Wooster Beauty College in 1970. She opened

Theresa’s Beauty Corner in December 1970. Theresa was the secretary for JHS Alumni for 25 plus

years and was a member of the Lakefork Methodist Church. In her spare time, she loved crocheting,

reading and working on all kinds of puzzles.

She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Van Driest of Jeromesville, two grandsons, Michael Bowles and

Justin (Rachel) Bowles, five great grandchildren, Dawson, Jace and (Savy) Bowles and James and

Jackson Bowles and two brothers, Earl Hardy of Jeromesville and Wilbur (Kay) Hardy of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Shibinski in 2011, a daughter, LuAnn

Shibinski in 1996, a grandson, Jeremy Drugan in 2005, her sister, Phyllis McIntire in 2021 and her

husband, Ray in 2009, her brother, Delbert Hardy in 2004 and his wife, Barbara in 2014

and her sister-in-law, Lucille Hardy 2018.

Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday March 3, 2026 at Jeromesville Cemetery with Pastor Paul

O’Brien officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

OH 44906 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
