Sharlene Louise Hiller, 83 of Jeromesville passed away Sunday December 18, 2022 at her residence.
She was born July 23, 1939 in Ashland County the daughter of Howard and Faye Brubaker Jones. She
married Ed Hiller on December 24, 1955 and together they owned and operated Hiller’s Hog Farm
until their retirement in 2001. Sharlene also worked as Nurse’s Aid at Samaritan Hospital and drove
school bus for Hillsdale Local Schools for 12 years. In school, she was a member of the Ashland
County Baby Beef Cub, where she won grand champion. Sharlene enjoyed collecting antiques and
mowing her yard, whether it needed it or not!
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Randy) Hazlett and Linda Wolf, both of Jeromesville, a
son, Doug Hiller of Ashland, 6 grandsons, David and Levi Hazlett, Cody and Kyle Wolf and Shane and
Bryce Hiller, 3 great grandchildren, Oliver Hiller, Ella Hazlett and Anders Hiller, and a brother, Robert
(Holly) Jones of Jeromesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbancd, Edward Hiller, a daughter-in-law, Marcie
Cline Hiller and a sister, Sharon Lifer.
Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday December 22, 2022 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with
Pastor John Bouquet officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday December 21, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
