Obituary
Scott Allen Dennis, 36 of West Salem passed away Sunday June 18, 2023 at Wooster Community
Hospital. He was born August 5, 1986 in Wooster the son of Gary and Deborah Hochstetler Dennis.
He was a 2004 graduate of Hillsdale High School and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in
Loudonville. Scott loved to farm and also enjoyed surfing the web looking for farm equipment. He
loved being outdoors and landscaping flower beds. Scott’s favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, and his
favorite food was the pumpkin pie.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Deb (Hochstetler) Dennis of Loudonville, his sister and
brother-in-law, Laura (Sam) Coey, a nephew, David Coey, a niece, Emily Coey, his maternal
grandparents, Roy and Kathy Hochstetler and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private graveside services will be 11:00 AM on Friday June 23, 2023 at Greenlawn Cemetery
with Rev. Dan Cammarn officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
