Ruby Jane (Knisely) Selvage

Ruby Jane Selvage, 74 of Wooster passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Wayne County Care Center after battling Multiple Myeloma for 13 years. She was born July 13, 1949 in Wooster, the daughter of Homer and Jane (Hendershot) Knisely. 

She worked in Human Resources at Rubbermaid for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Willis Selvage, to whom she was married June 3, 1981. 

She has two daughters, Angela (Costanzo) Sasser of Bradenton, FL and Kimberly (Selvage) Okuley of Ashley, OH, and two sons, Christopher (Jillian) Costanzo of Auburn, IN, Christopher Selvage of Wooster OH, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Sgt. Paul Knisely and Claude “Butch” Knisely.

Per Ruby’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Per the family’s wishes, donations to Hospice in lieu of flowers is encouraged. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday August 3, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.
