Ronald Eugene Ross

Ronald Eugene Ross, 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 21, 2020.
Ron was a people person who never met a stranger. He had a ready smile and just loved life. Ron grew up in Ashland, Ohio and graduated from Mapleton High School. He attended Grace Church in Ashland, OH and loved his bible study group. Ron had a passion for life and his family.
Ron was President of the Optimist Club in Virginia and a member of the Eagles and Moose clubs in Ohio where he was an avid card player. He started the Biddy Basketball League in Mapleton and umpired for over 20 years. He ran his own construction company for most of adult life and spent the last several years happily employed at BCU Electric. 
Ron is survived by his wife, Kim, of 42 years, his son, Jarrod (Hali), and grandchildren, Taylor, Tage, Tesa, Juliana and Gabby. Also survived by his twin brother, Randy (Linnea), younger brother, Todd (Nancy), uncle, Dale (Sue), mother-in-law, Jeanine, brother-in-law, Eric (Kim), a beloved brother-in-law and his wife and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, father, Don, grandparents, sister, Lori, nephew, Joe, father-in-law, Phil, and a cherished niece.
Ron is now with his Lord and Savior.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday June 26, 2020 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville. Burial will be in Nankin Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday June 25, 2020 from 4-6 pm at the funeral home or one hour prior to the service on Friday. There will be an Eagles service following calling hours Thursday evening.
