Richard "Dick" Raymond Marshall, 79 of Jeromesville passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster.
Dick was born March 20, 1942 in Woodsfield, OH the son of Raymond and Helen Smith Marshall. He moved to Sullivan, OH where he attended school and later to Ashland. He owned and operated a Gradall business and also owned an oil well business. Dick worked many years as an equipment operator for Ohio Operating Engineers Local 18. He was a member of the Mason's #151 and a lifetime member of the FOE #302. He was also a member of the Brookwood Church of Christ in Mansfield.
He is survived by his wife, Fern Lambert Marshall, to whom he was married February 22, 1968, a son, Bradley Marshall of Ashland, a daughter and son-in-law Crystal & Clint Sloan of Ashland and a daughter Amy Krebs (Kevin) of Hayesville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Clay Sloan, Malery Sloan, Kaitlyn Marshall and Robert Marshall.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann Welch.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 29, 2021 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Tim Briggs officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
