Phyllis Arlene Wise, 93 formerly of Jeromesville passed away Saturday July 5, 2025 at UH Samaritan
Medical Center. She was born August 20, 1931 in Jeromesville the daughter of Boyd and Clara
Weimer Winbigler.
Phyllis lived in Jeromesville for over 91 years, before moving in with her daughter and son-in-law.
She was part owner of Winbigler Lumber, with her brother Donald and was known for her one of a
kind laugh.
She was a homemaker, a meticulous housekeeper, fantastic cook and loved entertaining, for many
years shared leftovers and meals with neighbors, friends and relatives who appreciated it very much.
She was a member of Tuesday Night Canasta Club for over 65 years, the Jeromesville Christian Church
and an avid supporter of Kenneth Wise Historical Museum.
Phyllis is survived by a daughter LuAnn (Rod) Graser of Wooster, a granddaughter Kyla Wise (Troy
Miller) two grandsons Kyle Graser & Stephen Reynolds, 3 great grandsons Jaxson Reynolds, Henry
Reynolds & Fynn Graser and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth Wise, a son, Kevin Wise and a brother,
Donald Winbigler.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday July 11, 2025 at Jeromesville Cemetery.
Family and friends are encouraged to dress casually.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillsdale Cares.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
