Philip Wilford Summers

Philip Wilford Summers, 88 of Wooster passed away peacefully Saturday March 16, 2024 at his

residence. He was born April 21, 1935 in Clay County, West Virginia the son of Philip (Shorty) and

Leighty James Summers. He was a Diesel Mechanic for McIlvane Trucking and was a U.S. Army

Veteran.

He is survived by four sons, Rod Summers of Jeromesville, Terry Summers of Wooster, Mark Summers

of Norwalk and Randy Summers of Ashland, a daughter, Sue Long of Ashland, and several

grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara Fannin Summers, a daughter, Saundra

Summers, two sons, Steve and Allan Summers and 2 brothers.

Friends may call Friday March 22, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.
