Peggy Lynn (Regan) McClure

Peggy Lynn McClure, 69 of Ashland passed away Thursday January 26, 2023 at Wooster Community

Hospital. She was born September 26, 1953 in Ashland County the daughter of Paul “Tex” and Shirley

Shinabarkar Regan. She was a 1972 graduate of Ashland High School and worked at Bob Evans in

Mansfield for 25 years. Peggy was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and attended the

Hayesville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Andy McClure, a daughter, Heidi Card of Columbus, two grandsons,

Christopher Andrew McClure of Hayesville and Nico Card in the U.S. Navy, a granddaughter, Mia

Card, a sister, Vickie (Danny) Gongwer of Jeromesville, two brothers, Joe (Tracy) Regan of West

Salem and Jim (Shari) Regan Ashland and a brother-in-law, Don Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, David McClure and a sister, Paula Long.

Memorial services will be 12:00 PM on Saturday February 4, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 

with Father John Miller officiating.

Calling hours will be Thursday February 2, 2023 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville from 5-7 pm,

with a memorial service to follow conducted by Pastor Layton Broome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to “Friends of the Ashland County Park District”

Davy McClure Outdoor Educational Shelter c/o Ashland County Park District 1301 Park Street

Ashland, OH 44805. The family is planning to plant a tree and butterfly garden in Peggy’s memory

at the site of the Outdoor Education Shelter.
