Myron Lee Farquhar of Jeromesville passed away Saturday February 13, 2021 at
UH Samaritan Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1925 in Knox Co. the son of
James Edward and Ruby Ellen Gessling Farquhar. He was a 1943 graduate of
Danville High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in Japan
and the Philippines. Myron was a self employed dairy and grain farmer
and love his IH tractors. He married Anna Murial Tucker June 12, 1948 and
where together for 54 years, until her passing in 2002. Myron was a member of the
Lakefork United Methodist Church andformer member of the Jefferson Grange and Jeromesville Lions Club.
He is survived by three children, Patricia Farquhar of California, Linda (Tom) Grimwood and Robert
(Cindy) Farquhar, both of Jeromesville, six grandchildren, Jason (Selena) Grimwood, Regina (Jason)
Hickey, and Darrell (Kristy) Grimwood all of Jeromesville, Karri Farquhar and Megan (Greg) Heiby
both of Wooster and Nicholas (Taylor) Faruqhar of Jeromesville, and nine great grandchildren,
Clay and Zac Grimwood, Hunter and Hadalyn Hickey, Emma, Ella and Erin Grimwood and Evan and
Caleb Heiby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Ronald Farquhar.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday February 19, 2021 at Lakefork Cemetery with Pastor
Layton Broome officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
