Michael Ries McFarlane

Michael Ries McFarlane, 60 of Jeromesville passed away Friday November 3, 2023 at Ohio State

University Wexner Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1963 in Canton, OH the son of Thomas

and Betty Ries McFarlane. He was a 1983 graduate of Hillsdale High School and a parts specialist for

RAYCO Manufacturing. His passion was collecting and restoring antique John Deere tractors.

Michael had the gracious opportunity to be an organ donor at the end of his life and save others.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Pierce McFarlane of Jeromesville, a son, Matthew McFarlane of the

home, a daughter, Kimberly (Timothy) Erickson, of East Canton, two grandchildren, Avery Erickson

and Remington Erickson, his parents, two sisters, Christine McFarlane of Wooster and Beth McFarlane

of Columbus, and his mother-in-law, Madeline Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dean Pierce.

Memorial services will be 4:00 – 6:00 PM Thursday November 16, 2023 at Buckeye Agricultural

Museum 877 West Old Lincolnway Wooster, OH 44691.
