Lowell Lutz Obituary
Lowell Eugene Lutz, 85 of Brunswick died Wednesday July 10,
2019 at Southern Hills Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born March 30, 1934 in Ashland Co. the son of Robert
and Flo Barden Lutz. He was a 1952 graduate of Jeromesville
High School and a 1956 graduate of Ohio Northern
University where he was a member of Phi Mu Delta social
fraternity. Lowell was the executive director for the
Northeastern Ohio Education Association, a member of Pleasant Hills UMC in
Middleburg Heights and a Mason for 50 years at Wellington Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Johnson Lutz, to whom he was married August 24, 1958,
a daughter, Marla (Rob) Hills of Columbus, a son, Robert Lutz of Brunswick and three
grandchildren, Mackenzie Eikenberry of Akron, Nicholas Hills of Columbus and Hayley Hills
of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Philip Lutz.
Services will be 2:00 PM Monday July 15, 2019 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with
Pastor James Szakacs officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
