Lori Ann Allenbaugh, 62, of Jeromesville passed peacefully March 29, 2024 at UH Cleveland

Medical Center. She was born December 12, 1961 in Ashland, the daughter of Robert W and Karen

Schoonover Gibbs. 

She graduated from Hillsdale High School, Class of 1980. She studied at North Central State and

Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She was employed with Loudonville/Perrysville School District

as an assistant to the treasurer/payroll for 18 years. She was an avid reader and loved adding

books to her library. She loved her family and friends. She never met a stranger. If you were a

friend, you were a friend for life. 

She will be greatly missed by her husband Steve Allenbaugh, to whom she was married June 14,

2002. Her children Stephanie (Callen) Turner of TN, Aaron (Kara) Blough of Hayesville, Mallory

(Michael) Constance of Hayesville, Libby Allenbaugh and Logan (Lexi) of Greenwich. Her mother

Karen Gibbs of Hayesville. Her sisters Sandy (Bruce) Swaisgood of Polk, Susie (Mark) Hynek of

Ashland and Lisa (Matt) Egner of Lexington. 

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Gibbs. 

Service will be held at 11 am Friday, April 5, 2024, at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor John Collins officiating. Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery. Family and friends may call

5 to 8pm Thursday, April 4, 2024.
