Larry Leroy Aber Obituary
Larry Leroy Aber, 79 of Wooster, passed away March 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born March
26, 1941 in Wayne Co. the son of Clifford L. and Hazel Sovel Aber. He had worked Frito Lay for 38
years in the receiving department and attended Emanuel Old Stone Church. Larry liked to play cards
and was a car enthusist, who enjoyed working on cars as well as competing in Dirt Track Racing,
Demolition Derby’s and Drag Racing.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Moser Aber, to whom he was married April 19, 1961, three children,
Brian Aber of Jeromesville, Lorrie (Ken) Hartzler of Wooster and Les (Penny) Aber of Mallie, KY, 8
grandchildren, 22 great granchildren and a special cousin, Ricky Sovel.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services where held at Fairview Cemetery on Friday March 27, 2020 with Pastor Dan
Bartkowiak officiating.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
