Kenneth Marvin Wise, 89 of Jeromesville passed away Monday September 28, 2020 at
Wooster Community Hospital. He was born January 25, 1931 in Ashland Co. the son of
Tom and Floy McQuate Wise Sr. He was a 1949 graduate of Jeromesville High School
and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Kenny was a lifelong resident of the
Jeromesville area, where he coached little league and was co-owner/operator of
Winbigler Lumber. Kenny was known as the Jeromesville Historian and was the
founder of the Jeromesville Historical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Winbigler Wise, to whom he was married June 6, 1952,
a daughter, LuAnn (Rod) Graser of Wooster, two grandchildren, Kyle Graser and Kyla
(Stephen) Reynolds, three great grandchildren, Fynn Graser, and Jaxson and Henry
Reynolds and a sister, Marilyn (Jim) Owens of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Kevin Wise, and four brothers, Dean,
Ralph, Eldon and Tom Jr. Wise.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday October 1, 2020 at Jeromesville Cemetery
with Pastor Layton Broome officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
