Kathleen Sue (Helvie) Weiler

Kathy Sue Weiler, 73 of Rowsburg passed away peacefully, Thursday March 26, 2026 at OhioHealth Hospice Mansfield

Hospital. She was born November 20, 1952 in Ashland the daughter of Richard and Margaret Bell

Helvie. She was a 1971 graduate of Ashland High School and was a member of  Christ United

Methodist Church. Kathy was a medical receptionist for Dr. M.A. Shilling and later worked at

 Ashland High School as the school nurse.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Weiler, to whom she was married October 1, 1972, two sons,

David Weiler and Jason (Shannon) Weiler all of Rowsburg, two grandchildren, Bradon Weiler and

Raelee Weiler, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Willingham of Palmetto, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Helvie.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday April 2, 2026 at Rowsburg Hillside Church.  

Burial will be in Rowsburg Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
