Obituary

June Carl McFarlin, 94, of Jeromesville, Ohio, peacefully passed away with her loving family, and the Lord by her side, Saturday, July 8th, 2023.

June was born June 2, 1929, in Jeromesville, to Harland and Chloe Eagle Carl.

June graduated from Jeromesville High School in 1947 and from Wooster Business College in 1948. On June 12, 1949 she married the love of her life, Stanley Bruce McFarlin. She was a lifetime member of Jeromesville Trinity Lutheran Church and had served as church council president and LCW president, Sunday school superintendent, and was involved with many other committees in the church. She was one of the charter members of the Jeromesville American Legion Auxiliary and had served as president and chaplain. In her earlier years she had been employed at the grocery store in Jeromesville, Allied Mills Inc. in Wooster, GTE Telephone in Ashland, and at National City Bank in Jeromesville, retiring from there in 1994.

June, has enjoyed many things in her life: she was an avid sports fan-especially watching her kids and grandkid's events, loved musicals, traveling, visiting friends, and one of her greatest joys in life, was being with and making memories with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved ones. June was a wonderful cook, but one thing that the family will miss most, is her year-round supply of Christmas cookies and ice cream pies that were always in the freezer. She also would say many times how thankful she was for the caring, kind, and loving people that have been involved in her life.

June is survived by two sons, Gregory Bruce McFarlin (Kathy) and Jeffry Blake McFarlin (Becky) of Ashland and one daughter Jill Ann Schwerer (Jeffrey) of Whitehouse; eight grandchildren, Kyle McFarlin, Morgan McFarlin, Matti Krispinsky, Tyler McFarlin (Lexi), MacKenzie Every (Austin), Jillian Stawicki (Greg), Jordan Schwerer (Jessica), Joshua Schwerer (Katelyn); three great-grandchildren, Karson and Baylor Stawicki, Colton Schwerer; and two sister-in-law’s Marjorie Carl of Ashland, Marge McFarlin of Jeromesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harland Smith Carl, and Chloe Ruth Eagle Carl; husband Stanley Bruce McFarlin; brothers, George Carl, Don Carl; and grandson-in-law, Danny Krispinsky.
