Judy Allen-Rebman (60), born March 6, 1964, went peacefully Wednesday June 26, 2024, following a brief illness this spring. A 1982 graduate of Hillsdale High School with a college degree in mechanical engineering. She worked at Schoonover Industries of Ashland for 25 years and Perkins Family Restaurant as a waitress for 18 years. She also owned and operated Allen’s Bottled Gas for many years.
Judy enjoyed gardening and being outside, traveling to warm destinations, especially beaches and Las Vegas and thrift shopping with her friend Connie. Her favorite band was the Eagles; she enjoyed classic rock music and HGTV shows. She spent her extra time with her grandchildren teaching them to swim and attending their sporting activities.
Most of all Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandma, friend and co-worker to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Todd Rebman of Jeromesville, mother Joan Allen of Jeromesville, 4 sisters: Sue(Mark) Lang of Newark, Mary Jo Allen of Columbus, Brenda (Joe) Lariosa of Columbus, Cindy McDonald (Ben Shunk) of Jeromesville, 2 daughters Wendy Leininger and Monique (Cody) Sumler of Jeromesville, five grandchildren Jadyn, Jake, Trenton, Kyptin, and Amya all of Jeromesville, 1 niece Jessica Shalosky and 3 nephews Dylan, Damon and Dakota Gantz. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Allen.
She asks you to celebrate her life in the form of a party on July 13th, 2024 from 4-8 pm at the Jeromesville American Legion. Please feel free to honor Judy by wearing your beach attire and flip flops.
