Judith Ann Hootman, 73 of Jeromesville passed away Thursday February 2, 2023. She was born June
2, 1949 in Mansfield the daughter of Charles and Roxie Faye Payton Caugherty Jr. She was a 1967
graduate of Mansfield Senior High and worked for Heffelfinger Insurance in Jeromesville. She
enjoyed quilting, crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Alicia (Jeff) Birl of Sachse, TX, a grandson, Brock Nance, two
granddaughters, Jazmin Birl and Jaliyah Soloman, a sister, Nancy (Joe) Robertson, a nephew, Andrew
(Megan) Robertson, a niece, Ann (Chris) Scott, four great nieces, Olivia, Jacklyn and Emily White and
Matilda Robertson, and a great-great nephew, Theodore Aidt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gary Hootman.
Services will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that contributions be made to your favorite charity.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
