Jerry Allen Stockdale

Jerry Allen Stockdale, 78, of Hayesville, OH, entered into rest Tuesday morning 8:39 am, August 8, 2023, at home in Hayesville, OH. He was born March 20, 1945, in Galion, OH to the late Ivan Curtis Stockdale and Mabel Lucille Price Stockdale.

Jerry retired from Pentair Pumps, Ashland, OH and is a former longtime employee of Hydromatic Pumps, Ashland, OH. He was a member of the Ashland Elks Lodge #1360, Ashland, OH. He attended St Michael Lutheran Church, Mifflin, OH. Jerry enjoyed his 1967 Chevelle 396 SS, and was very proud of it, hunting, and very proud of his garden. Served in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters Pauline Stahl, Romona Breighner, and Shirley George and three half-sisters: Linda Mutchler, Louise Plyler, Brenda Baker; and four brothers: Harold Stockdale, Carroll Stockdale, Larry Stockdale, Lowell Stockdale, and four half-brothers: John Stockdale, Bill Parker, Charles Parker, and Oris Parker.

Jerry is survived by his wife Brenda Sue Stockdale of 57 years, May 28, 1966, two daughters: Teresa (Rick) Mosher, Tanya (Verne) Mounts, one half-sisters: Betty (Ken) Roberts and half-brother Dan (Ida) Parker. Three Grandchildren: Brandon (Lexi) Mosher, Veronica Mounts and Ian (Dani) Mounts as well as two great grandchildren: Raelyn and Braxton Mosher. Jerry will be missed by a host of family and friends who will greatly miss him.

Services will be 12:00 PM Noon on Friday August 11, 2023 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Ralph Hall officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery at Hayesville.

Friends may call from 10:00am – 12:00pm on Friday at the funeral home before the service.
