James Richard (Dick) Cline

James Richard (Dick) Cline, 83 of Jeromesville passed away Tuesday May 20, 2025 at his residence.

He was born July 5, 1941 in Ashland the son of Clarence and Geraldine Scott Cline. He was a 1959

graduate of Hayesville High School and worked for Pentair in the sales department. Dick was a

member of the National Guard, Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason, the American Legion

Jerome Post 749 and the Ashland Eagles Aerie 2178, as well as a life member of the Hayesville

Amvets Post 1969 and Ashland Elks BPOE 1360.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Cover Cline, to whom he was married April 1, 1966, a daughter,

Laurie (fiance` Jarrod Hower) Thompson of Sahuarita, AZ, a son, Brian (Dara) Cline of Loudonville, 5

grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, two brothers, Larry Cline of Mansfield and Duane (Marilyn)

Cline of Ashland, and three sisters, Sue Stockdale of Ashland, Bev (Bob Garn) Owens o(f Ashland and

Darlene Harris of Jeromesville.

He was preceded in death by is parents, two brothers, Dwight Cline and Melvin Cline and a brother-in-

law, Jerry Stockdale.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday May 23, 2025 at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville with

Paul O’Brien officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
