James Alan Anderson, 85 of Jeromesville passed away Friday March 26, 2021 at Kingston of Ashland.

He was born January 6, 1936 in Ashland the son of Earl and Esther Walters Anderson. He was a 1955

graduate of Ashland High School, a graduate of Wooster Business College and was a U.S. Army

Veteran. Jim worked for Western Southern for 22 years and was a member of the

Mohicanville Community Church.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Smith Anderson to whom he was married February 26, 1961, two

daughters, Barbara (Adrian) Bull of Ashland and Lisa Jefferson of Elyria, 2 granddaughters, Cassie

Bull and Lexi Carter, three grandsons, Matt Bull, Zachary Jefferson and Quentin Jefferson, five great

grandchildren, Troy, Joel, David, Benjamin James and Moriah and several nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Neal Anderson, Duane Anderson and Tom

Anderson.

Interment will be 9:00 AM Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Jeromesville Cemetery with a service to

follow at Mohicanville Community Church starting at 11:00 AM.

Friends may call Tuesday March 30, 2021 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville from 5-8 pm or one

hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
