Ida Boeman Obituary

Ida V. (Fowler) Boeman, 80 went home to be with the Lord February 11, 2023, from her home in Mansfield. Ida was born February 24, 1942, in Ashland County, to Vernon Horton Fowler and Vida Gouty (Hootman) Fowler. She married Robert “Bob” Boeman October 2, 1992. They enjoyed 20 years of marriage together. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, reading her Bible, spending quite time with the Lord, and studying her family history.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert D. Holderbaum and Alisa of Mansfield and Ross A. Holderbaum and Ester of San Antonio, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her brothers, Dan Fowler of Fredericktown, Tom Fowler of Butler, John Fowler of Mansfield, Bob Jackson of Hayesville, and Bill Jackson of Ashland and sons-in-law James Layland and Brett Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Boeman, twin sister Vida (Fowler) Eagle, two daughters, Robin Rogers and Roberta Layland, sister Sharon Fowler, and two brothers Clair Fowler and Richard Fowler, and stepson John and Beth Myers of Lakeville.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 18, 2023 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at a later date.
