Herbert Dayton Long

Herbert Dayton Long, 91 formerly of Loudonville passed away Thursday December 30, 2021 at

Brethren Care Wellness Center. He was born November 11, 1930 in Loudonville the son of Herbert

Ralph and Mary Elizabeth Maxwell Long. He was a graduate of Loudonville High School and a U.S.

Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Herbert was a farmer and a member of the Loudonville

Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by a sister, Ruth Mitchell of Strongsville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen L. Bowman and a brother, Ralph A. Long.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Loudonville Cemetery where the

Ashland Honor Guard will conduct military rites. Dean Pierce be officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
