Glenn Merle Stitzlein, 96, of rural Jeromesville went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 7, 2020.
Glenn was born on June 21, 1924, the son of Martin and Ada (Richert) Stitzlein. Glenn grew up in the Loudonville area
where he attended and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. He graduated from Loudonville High School in 1943.
He married Eleanore Hartwig on November 5, 1950, and was engaged in farming and carpentry until his retirement.
Glenn was member of the Mohicanville Community Church since 1950.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Eleanore, as well as his parents, brothers Fred, Paul,
and Doyle Stitzlein, and sisters Rosella Britenbucher, Ruth Stitzlein, and Marguerite Kopp.
Glenn is survived by his children, Randy Stitzlein of Jeromesville, Richard (Lynn) Stitzlein of Ashland, David (Terry)
Stitzlein of Olney, MD, Michael (Linda) Stitzlein of Bucyrus, Joanne (Mike) Maiyer of Greenwood, IN, and Chris Stitzlein
of Chattanooga, TN. Grandchildren Joel (Hannah) Stitzlein, Andrea (Will) Mutters, Greta (Gabe) Kocher, Grant Stitzlein,
Lauren (Jeff) Basey, Matthew Stitzlein, Kristin Stitzlein, Jordan (Ryan) Koehlinger, and Ethan Maiyer.
Great-grandchildren Gracelynn and George Kocher, and James Koehlinger.
At Glenn’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. A private graveside service for the family will be held
at Pioneer Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Woodlee officiating on Saturday December 12, 2020.
