Gene Allen Spoerr

Gene Allen Spoerr, 84 formerly of Ashland passed away Wednesday November 15, 2023 at the Arbors

at Mifflin. He was born April 8, 1939 in Wakeman, Ohio the son of George and Dorothy Schwanger

Spoerr. He was a Dairy Farmer and member of the Olivesburg United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Rita (Tom) Kyser of Mansfield, a son, Steven Spoerr of Ashland,

numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, two stepsons, Tom Long of Ashland and Tim (Jody)

Long of North Carolina, a sister, Audrey Cameron of Mt. Vernon and numerous sisters and brothers in

law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, Genieva Pittenger Spoerr, his 2nd wife, Linda Lou

Blough Spoerr, a step daughter, Becki Feightner and 2 brothers James and Ronald Spoerr.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 22, 2023 at Olivesburg United Methodist Church

with Pastor Lori Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Olivesburg Cemetery.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church of Wednesday.
