Erich Andrew Diener

Erich Andrew Diener, 78 of Ashland passed away Thursday October 20, 2022 at Kingston of Ashland.

He was born July 13, 1944 in Cheruenka, Yugoslavia the son of Andrew and Bertha Balg Diener. Erich

was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for the Robert Bosch Corporation as an

engineer and was a member of the Hayesville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye Funk Diener, to whom he was married July 17, 1971, two daughters,

Gwendolyn Mills of Huntsville, AL and Melissa Diener of Berlin, 2 grandchildren and a

brother, Emil Diener of Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
