Edwin Hardy

Edwin Hardy, age 68, finished his life’s journey and suffering at Ohio Med Central on Friday, October 4, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio, the son of James and Evelyn Hardy

He was employed at Hedstrom Company for more than thirty-five years. Due to a motorcyle accident, he was forced to retire. He was a hard worker and held many positions such as supervisor

and quality control.

He and his wife, Linda, celebrated thirty-five years of marriage until her death on October 2, 2021. He was a man of strong Christian faith, but never recovered from her death. He lived and

believed that he would be with her again.

He is survived by four brothers, James Hardy of Akron, Kenneth Hardy of East Rochester, Charles Hardy of Barberton, and Jerry Hardy of Ravenna, and one sister, Donna Mace of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Linda.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, Ohio, with Pastor Andrew Foster officiating.
