Edwin Blough, 84 of Jeromesville passed away Friday May 9, 2025 at his residence. He was
born January 30, 1941 in Wayne Co., OH the son of Galen and Leona Easterday Blough. Ed was a
1959 graduate of Jeromesville High School and worked at the Wooster Brush for 43 years, in the
Layout and Mixing Department. He served as the Mayor of Jeromesville for 8 years and had been a
past member of the Jeromesville Town Council, the Jeromesville Lions Club and the Jeromesville Fire
Department.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and collector of Mickey Mouse Memorabilia. He was involved with
the youth of the town, coaching little league and working with the Boy Scouts for 52 years. Ed’s
passion was to keep Jeromesville looking good.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon Burgan Blough, to whom he was married, January 20,
1962, a son, Randy Blough of Ashland, a daughter, Kristine (Rob) Easterday of Jeromesville, 4
grandchildren, Stephanie (Callen) Turner, Aaron (Kara) Blough, Eric (Asheena) Easterday and Kylee
(Dakota) Easterday, 6 great grandchildren, Cailen, Sharley, Jayce, Brayden, Kaylee and Andrew and
three brothers, Pastor Don (Becky) Snow of New Philadelphia, Jim (Kaye) Blough of Wadsworth and
Lonnie (Sonnie) Snow of Liberty, IN and a sister, Vicky Miller
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Marlin Blough, Galen (Skip) Blough, Pastor
Roger Blough and Ron Snow, and three sisters, Carol Weekley, Linda Sporre and Carol Ann Wenger.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday May 16, 2025 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor
Donald Snow officiating.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
