Daryl Eugene Schwartzwalder

Daryl Eugene Schwartzwalder, 69 of Akron, passed away Thursday March 7, 2024 at Hickory Ridge

Nursing Facility in Akron.

Daryl was born May 6, 1954 in Jeromesville, the son of Clarence and Lucille (Bricker)

Schwartzwalder.

He is survived by a daughter, Dawn Stewart of New York, a son, Daryl Jr. of Canada, two sisters and

brothers-in-law, Mary Lou (Sam) Minten, of Menlo, GA and Barbara (Bob) Harbaugh of Jeromesville

and a brother, David Schwartzwalder of Jeromesville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and

numerous nieces and nephews, many of whom will forever remember him as their fun loving and

mischievous “Uncle Doodle.”

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Nancy Jane Schwartzwalder.

Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday March 10, 2024 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Chaplain John Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
