Darius Miller Obituary

Darius Delena Miller, 81 of Mifflin passed away Sunday March 20, 2022 at MedCentral

Health System. He was born September 23, 1940 in Polk the son Stanley and Eva

Shriner Miller. He was a graduate of Polk High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the

Vietnam Era.

He was a millwright having worked at Mansfield Plumbing Products, Mansfield Tire

and Ohio Brass.  Darius loved the outdoors, especially gardening, selling produce at

Farmers Market.

He also raised fruit trees, collected coins and was a history buff. Darius was a member of the

Amvets of Mansfield, Harry Higgens Post 88 of Ashland and the Ashland Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Rym Miller to whom he was married September 10, 1966, three

daughters, Valerie (significant other, Christopher Will) Miller of Columbus, Lisa (Korey) Bernard of

Ashland and Heather (Joe) Fittz of Fishers, IN, 3 grandsons, Cody Bernard, Zachary Bernard and

Jackson Fittz and a sister, Claudia Bland of Red Haw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Stanley Miller Jr. and two sisters, Eva Mae Miller

Herr and Portia Miller Turk.

Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday March 26, 2022 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor Jean Coleman officiating.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Association or the American Cancer

Society.
