Cathy Ann (Sheriff) Spaniel

Cathy Ann Spaniel, 64, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away at home on Thursday, December 5, 2024, after a short illness.

She was born on March 7, 1960, in Ashland, Ohio to John G. Sheriff and Rosemary Banks, both now deceased. Cathy is survived by her loving husband Steve, daughter Tiffany(Nik) Untch, sons Matt and Mike Spaniel, grandchildren Brooklyn and Camryn Untch, and Ayla, Owen, and Cooper Spaniel;  sisters Debbie Donough, Cindy Jones, and Jamie Dauel; brothers Dan Banks and Joshua Sheriff; stepmother Jean Sheriff; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A member of First Baptist Church, Cathy was employed over 36 years by Hydromatic Pump and Pentair, all of Ashland.  She loved the outdoors and her pets, but most importantly, she loved her family well with a big and tender heart.

No services are planned at this time.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
