Carol Ann Primrose passed away peacefully under hospice care at her sister’s home in Macedonia, OH
on Sunday September 27, 2020.
She recently resided in Wooster, OH. Carol was born on September 28, 1946 in Ashland, OH to the
late Robert and Maxine McFarlin. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1964 and attended
Bowling Green State University until she married Robert Primrose in 1967. They had one daughter,
Lisa Marie. After moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and getting a divorce, Carol remained there for 18
years and worked as an administrative assistant at Speeder Credit Union. She then moved back to Ohio
and worked at Ashland College as an administrative assistant.
She loved to cook and canned vegetables and kept very close track of family history.
Carol is survived by one daughter Lisa Lowe and son-in-law, Bob Lowe of Monument, Colorado. She
has five grandchildren: Megan (Elliot) Wilkerson of Colorado and one great grandchild, Axel
Wilkerson with one more due any day; Ryan Lowe of Colorado; Brandon Lowe of Colorado; Kristen
(Matt) Ruppert of Florida; and Jonathan Lowe of Florida; one sister; Linda (Wayne) Blankenship of
Macedonia, OH; one brother, Don (Cindy) McFarlin of Orrville, OH , three nephews, two nieces and
great nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, OH with Pastor Chuck Davis of Calvary
Assembly of God Church officiating. Services will be at noon on Monday October 5th, 2020, with
visitation at 11:00 AM. Burial will following in Jeromesville Cemetery.
Donations can be made to Congenital Heart Defect research in honor of Carol’s great nephew, Ian
Blankenship.
