Brent Eugene Soles

Brent Eugene Soles, 71 of Jeromesville passed away Monday March 2, 2026. He was born

July 23, 1954 in Ashland the son of Paul J. and Wanda Davis Soles. Brent was a 1972 graduate

of Ashland High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an Ashland City

Policeman, retiring after 25 years and co-owned the Jeromesville Market with his wife, Cathy.

Brent was an Ashland Youth Baseball coach for 8 years, and loved to golf and watch NASCAR.

His passion for the Cleveland Browns was evident in his love/hate relationship with them from week to week.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Namy, to whom he was married May 26, 1987, a daughter, Emily

(Tony) Farrao of Jeromesville, a son, Paul (Morgan) Soles of Jeromesville, four grandsons, Jegar,

Jackson, Judsen and Jase Soles, a son, James Soles and a special cousin, Dixie Davis Burkepile.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday March 9, 2026 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Rev.

Michael Namy officiating. Burial will be in the Jeromesville Cemetery. A dinner will follow after the

gravside services at the Jeromesville American Legion.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday.
