Betty Marie (Wise) McQuate

Betty Marie McQuate, 101, went home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday March 18,

2025.  She was born March 5, 1924 in Ashland County the daughter of Judson and Carrie Wolbaugh

Wise.  She had worked for Garber’s as a secretary and was a member of the Ashland Dickey Church.

She is survived by a son, Douglas Eldon (Pam) McQuate of Ashland, a daughter,  Kristine Kae (Bill)

Rickett of Wooster, 4 grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Stewart, Mike (Robin) Rickett, Cara (Zeb) Dziak and

Morgan (Katy) McQuate, 9 great grandchildren, Maria, Maya and Madison Rickett, Riley and Colin

Stewart, Eliam McQuate and Gavin, Leigha and Nile Dziak and a sister, Carrie Bates of San Antonio,

TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eldon McQuate, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Private family services will be 11:00 AM, Friday March 21, 2025 at Trinity Cemetery with Mike Rickett officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
