Barry James Clippinger

Barry James Clippinger, 74 of Ashland passed away Friday January 20, 2023 at the Arbors at Mifflin.

He was born December 14, 1948 in New York the son of James and Virginia Smith Clippinger. He was

a U.S. Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam Era and worked as a Long Haul Truck Driver. Barry was

an umpire for Fastpitch softball and High School baseball.

He is survived by four children, Alyson Clippinger of Ashland, Victoria Clippinger of Ashland, Robert

Clippinger of Massachusetts and Michael (Jessica) Clippinger of Texas, two step-children, Ingrid (Dan)

Peterman of Wellington and Leslie (Don) Mullins of Sullivan, 14 grandchildren, 11 great

grandchildren, a brother, Jeff Clippinger of Jeromesville and a sister, Jill Martie of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Thursday January 26, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.

There will be no services.
