Ardith (Art) Wilson

Ardith (Art) Wilson, 87 of rural Ashland passed away Saturday October 1, 2022 at his residence. He

was born July 25, 1935 in Ashland County the son of Harold and Mabel Schuck Wilson. Ardith was a

1953 graduate of Hayesville High School and was a member of the Stone Lutheran Church. He retired

from Hydromatic Pump after 37 years but his first love was the farm and loving his grandchildren and

great grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Beth (Dan) Bishop of Wooster, and Jamie (David) Checkelsky of

Jeromesville, a son, Tim (Christie) Wilson of Bradenton, FL, 5 grandchildren, Christy Bishop, Carrie

(Nick) Moore, Justin (Cassie) Checkelsky, Jeff (Sarah) Wilson and Tyler Wilson and 7 great-

grandchildren, Noah, Emilia, Declan, Hannah, Elliot, Oliver and Elizabeth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Roberts Wilson and a sister, Marilyn

Wilson.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday October 10, 2022 at Stone Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim

Hubert officiating.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service Monday at the church.
