Alice Virginia Fetzer, 96 of Ashland passed away peacefully on Thursday June 25, 2026 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1930 in Graysville, OH the daughter of Norval and Clara Ludolph Kenney.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Wiles of Ashland and Kathleen Goodwin of Mansfield, four granchildren, Dustalee Hlovac, Trevor Wiles, Addison Goodwin and Gage Goodwin, two great grandchildren, Ashley Carroll and Regan Hlovac and one great great grandchild, Kolson. As well as many cherished friends, nieces, and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Fetzer and a brother at birth.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was an active member of the Priscilla Circle until it disbanded. She was very active in many church activities including Sunday school and Bible school activities, also other committees of the church.

She graduated from Jeromesville High School, class of 1948. Attended Ashland College/University and joined Delta Zeta Sorority and became their college chapter Director (C.C.D.). The students dedicated the DZ suite to her.

Alice was an active member of many organizations and clubs: Ashland Country Club,
The Tuesday night Canasta Club, Altrusa, Emblem Club #41, A.C.L.D. (President) (Assoc. for children with learning disabilities), Ashland Mother’s Club, Ashland Symphony League
Ashland Historical Society and Volunteer, Antique dealer and respected jewelry appraiser for many years.
She was a realtor for Ward Real Estate and worked for Ashland University (College) as secretary in the Business and Economics Dept.

Alice worked for the Ashland County Fair Board as  a gate keeper for 67 years.

Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday June, 10th. Details to follow.
