Wilma Jean Bright, 79 of Ashland died Wednesday January 11, 2012 at

Samaritan Regional Health System.  She was born September 6, 1932

in Ashland the daughter of Clifford and Nettie McQuate Harper.  She was a 1951

graduate of Ashland High School and a homemaker.  Wilma was a very active

member of the Dickey Church of the Brethren, did the registration for Ashland Co.
YesteryearMachinery Club, and was a helper for 21 years for the LaGrange Engine

Club.  Wilma was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Ned Bright to whom she was married

January 17, 1954, two sons and daughters-in-law, David (Pam) Bright of Hayesville

and Roger (Mary) Bright of Ashland, 2 step grandchildren, 12 step great

grandchildren and a sister and brother-in-law, Janice (Guy) Kirkpatrick of Ashland.

Private graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday January 13, 2012 at

Dickey Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Zuercher officiating.  There will be

no calling hours.
