Westley Alonzo (Lonnie) Kidwell, 78 of Ashland passed away at home on September 14, 2017.

He was born September 16, 1938, the son of Herman and Ellen Kidwell.  Westley aka, "Stringer"

was an over the road truck driver for 45 years having driven 3 million miles.  He loved working on

and showing his classic cars.  He served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by by wife of 30 years, Susan Kidwell, 8 children, Tammy Barker of Ashland, Denise

(Scott)  Bloemen of Mansfield, Jamie (Elaine) Rogers of Colorado, Dusty Atwell of Mansfield, Kathy

(Ray) Edwards of Ashland, Gayle Campbell of Loudonville, Tracy Kidwell of Iowa and Jeremy

Kidwell of Polk, three brothers, Tom Kidwell, Scott Kidwell and Jerry Kidwell, two sisters, Midge

Miller and Becky (Tim) Ditmar, his loving grandchildren Christina (Sean) Henry of Ashland, Jennifer

Barker of Ashland, Brandon Barker of Ashland , Shawn (Katrina) Rogers of Colorado and Shelby

Bloeman of Mansfield, and many great grandchildren, including, Serenity Petry.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
