Obituary

Wendell Eugene Pidgeon, 50 of Bradfordwoods, Pennsylvania

went to be with the Lord Saturday July 16, 2011 at Passavant

McCandless Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after a courageous

battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born October 17, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He was the son of Robert and

Margaret Meshew Pidgeon.  He was a 1978 graduate of Wooster High

School and was a District Manager for Cameron.  He was

a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeromesville.

Mr. Pidgeon had been a member of the Hillsdale and JVS

School Boards, the Hayesville Lions Club, the Oil & Gas

Association, the Hillsdale Athletic Association and had

coached Little League Baseball in Jeroemsville.

Wendell was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Triesler Pidgeon, to whom

he was married September 4, 1993, four sons and two

daughters-in-law, Matthew Pidgeon of Wooster, Kyle and Crystal

Pidgeon of Jeromesville, Brock Pidgeon of Wexford, PA, and

Troy and Brandi Pidgeon of Ashland, a daughter, Kristina Pidgeon

of the home, 3 grandchildren, his step-mother, Linda Pidgeon, of New

Hampshire three brothers and sisters-in-law,

Jack (Keith) and Pat Meshew Jr. of Wooster, Frank and Pam Meshew

and David and Pam Meshew all of Wooster, five sisters and two

brothers-in-law, Marge Meshew of Deerfield Beach, FL, Wendy

Royce, Katie and Henry Plummer, Melinda and Pete Wholk

and Tamara Pidgeon, all of New Hampshire and numerous

nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret

Pidgeon, and his aunt and uncle, Keith and Luciene Meshew,

who were like his second parents.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday July 22, 2011 at Fickes Funeral

Home in Jeromesville with Rev. Deborah Michaels officiating.

Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.  Friends may call

from 5-9 pm Thursday July 21, 2011 at the funeral home.
