Obituary

In the early morning hours of Tuesday April 11 2017 Timothy Lee Jacobs unexpectedly slipped into the

arms of God. He was born August 30, 1942 in Massillon to Ralph Leo and Juanita McNutt Jacobs.

Tim spent his childhood school years growing up in Woodsfield, Ohio. He moved with no family to

Ashland in 1958. He got his GED in 2000.

In 1959 he enlisted in the Army serving his time in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1962.

Tim was a general laborer most of his life. He worked in landscaping, roofing, the coal mines in

Kentucky and FE Myers Inc. He truly enjoyed hunting and watching the NASCAR races.

He is survived by his daughter, Holly Kaye Powers and son, Ralph Jacobs of Kentucky. He has 2

granddaughters and 9 great grandsons, one great granddaughter of Indiana. He is also survived by his

sister, Annie (Gary) Finley of Ashland and Mary (Walter) Matz of Polk. Also surviving are a host of

neices, nephews and cousins. He had a very special nephew, Ted Reip of Mansfied and a friend,

Cherokee of Ashland. He also left behind his ever faithful, constant canine companion "Baby" and his

Kentucky friends, Bill and Betty Martin, Ron Meade and Monroe Stephans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, David in 1963 and his sister, Dottie Reip in 2011.

Per his wishes their will be no services. Inurnment will be in Reedsburg Cemetery.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
