Thomas Eugene West, 77 formerly of Jeromesville died Friday August 5, 2016 at

Good Shepherd Nursing Home.  He was born November 13, 1938 in Ashland, the

son of Owen and Mildred Hart West.  He was a 1956 graduate of Ashland High

School and served in both the U.S. Army and Navy during peacetime.  He worked

at Reiter Dairy, Cleveland Ave. Market and Archway Cookie as District Sales Manager.

He was a member of the Jerome Post #749, the Jeromesville Fire Department,

Jeromesville United Methodist Church and was former Mayor of Jeromesville.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Lange Glass West of Ashland, two daughters,

Gale (Mark) Andress of Polk, and Connie (Jerry) Harman of Ashland, two sons,

Michael (Tina) West of Johnstown and David (Theresa) West of Dallas, GA, five

step-sons, Stephen Glass of Pennsylvania, James Glass of Vermont, Robert Glass

of Cuyahoga Falls, Joel Glass of Lorain and Jon Glass of Canton, 7 grandchildren,

11 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 16 step great-grandchildren, and

two sisters, Mary Rogers and Hazel Motter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, Bonnie West, his 2nd wife,

Connie West, a sister, Audrey Ritchey and a brother, Buddy West.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Fickes Funeral Home

with Minister John Ballinger officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
