Terry Lee Zehner, 68 of Polk passed away peacefully with his son by his side on Wednesday March 31st

at UH Samaritan Medical Hospital. He was born February 12, 1953 in Ashland the son of Clifton

Melvin and Ima Jean Allenbaugh Zehner. He was a graduate of Hillsdale High School. Terry enjoyed

hunting, fishing in Canada and hunting for mushrooms. He also enjoyed collecting coins, drinking and

playing Keno.

He is survived by his significant other of 40 years, Joyce Hootman, a son, Timothy James (Jessica)

Zehner of Polk, two daughters, Anna Marie Hootman of Loudonvile and Jennifer Lynn Chandler of

Lakeville, and 5 grandchildren, Wyatt Scott Zehner, James Michael Zehner, Christopher Wells Jr.,

Bryanna Brinker and Kayla Chandler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Kayla Brinker and two brothers, Brad

Zehner and Randy Zehner.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday April 9, 2021 at Pioneer Cemetery in the Chapel with burial to follow.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
