Shirley Arlene Morris, 73 of Ashland died Friday September 30, 2011

at Hospice House. She was born September 10, 1938 in Toledo

the daughter of Leslie and Lula Harrison Middleton and grew up

in Loudonville. She was a rest home dietician and loved the Cleveland Indians.

She is survived by her husband, James Morris, to whom she was

married in May 1981, three children, Leslie (Brian) Christine of Ashland,

Brent Lifer of Fredricktown, and Michael Lifer of Ashland, four step-children,

Tina ( Joe) Yenni of Fitchville, Lori (Joe) Arcand of Mifflin, Cathy (Lee)

Steigerwalt of Jeromesville and Jimmy Morris of Greenwich, 10

grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Beverly Fliger

of Bellville and Margaret Musselman of Wooster, and two brothers,

Les Middleton of Perrysville and Jerry (Mary) Middleton of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Earl

and Don Middleton.

Calling hours will be Monday October 3, 2011 at Fickes Funeral Home

in Jeromesville from 6-8 pm. There will be no services.
