Russel Gene Selvage, 61 of Wooster passed away Friday January 21, 2022 at his residence. He was

born July 1, 1960 in Wooster Community Hospital the son of Billy and Susan Funk Selvage. He was a

1978 graduate of Northwestern High School and worked for Hackney Body in Kidron. Russel enjoyed

farming, antique tractor pulls and bowling and was an avid fan of the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes.

Russel was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Selvage, two sisters, Cindee (Larry) Bellman Jr. and Becki (Brad)

Buckingham, a niece, Staci (Matay) Tessmer, three nephews, Kevin Bellman, Blake (Katlyn) Bellman

and Nick Buckingham, a great niece, Paisley Bellman and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Selvage.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 27, 2022 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor Stephanie Woods officiating. Burial will be in Reedsburg Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
